It’s alright. If you want to create sharp edges, prob not the right comb. The end of the comb is rounded.. wish it was sharper.

Purchased January 2020, Today one of the teeth feel out of the comb! Very disappointed for as much as these products cost they should last a lifetime. Tried to return for another one but returned window has expired.

This comb was pricey, and people thought I was crazy when I decided to try it. But you get what you pay for, and over the two years I've had it, I've never had a better comb. It looks and feels fancy, is sturdy, and doesn't yield to coarse/thick hair unlike cheap plastic combs.

It's difficult to get a good quality comb, especially a tail comb, however, I have finally found a great tail comb with this product. The tips of the comb are smooth and rounded, not like the less expensive ones with the tips that are too sharp. This is the first time I've purchased this comb from Amazon, however, I have purchased this comb before from another source.I would definitely recommend this tail comb.

Uh, well, it's a nice comb, but the teeth are too close together for my hair! A lot of times the comb flips sideways in my hand and I end up sort of "burnishing" my wet hair with the side of the comb. In order to get it to really comb as desired, I have to lift up a section of hair with one hand and kind of force it into the comb teeth. Will be archiving this one and going back to my old Scunci wide-tooth comb.

Bought this for my sister for her birthday. She had broken her previous comb. I love mason Pearson products. They improve the health of hot hair and can last forever! I definitely recommend this product and many of the other ones.

I know it is crazy expensive.....but there really is something about these combs that changes your hair. The lack of sharp edges between the tines, allow the comb to get through my super thick hair and it doesn't break it. No breaking means less split ends....I have super long hair, naturally thick and dry.

I bought the first comb about a year ago, and unfortunately my wife broke them recently. Not sure how, she was just combing her hair, but regardless, they broke. However, she swears that this is the best comb she's ever had. Because of that I purchased one for Christmas for my mom. She too loves this comb. I gave it a 4 star, because I'd think that breakage shouldn't even be a problem for a comb costing what this does, while just combing your hair, but even after that I had to replace it as my wife still loves the comb.

This comb is not only beautiful but it works well. It doesn't snag hair and it not only smooths your hair in place but makes a pretty nice part with just the teeth. The tail is a little big (not as skinny as a wire tail) but I still love it!

I've used a tail comb to comb my generic male haircut for many years. I don't know the brand or origin of the comb I've been using all that time, it's a generic nylon tail comb. But I broke one of the teeth off a while back and figured it was time for a replacement. All you can find in stores are those black Ace combs which are too fine and sharp for my taste. After poking around way too long on Amazon and elsewhere I decided this comb, despite the rather exotic price, seemed like the best bet for a replacement.Well, having used it for a few months I can say it works, but it isn't quite as nice as my old comb. The plastic used is a bit too flexible, so the comb feels a bit rubbery. Despite that the tail is slightly hard to hold onto firmly. The teeth aren't molded in, but cut after the fact. That leaves them with very square edges which tend to catch my hair a bit rather than gliding through. It's not that it gets tangled or really caught, but it isn't as smooth as I would like. The tortoiseshell color isn't hideous, but it's not particularly attractive either.All in all a workable comb, but not perfect.
