I got this Cosmedica Skincare Refresh Glow Hydrating Peptide Spray with Matrixyl 3000 for my daughter and she has used it here in there over the past month. She said the spray was a bit harsh so you ended up spraying it on her or an applicator pad instead. Even doing that though she said the scent is really powerful being so close to her nose and doesn't like to regularly use it. It did add some sheen she said and her skin felt good with no adverse reactions. While it didn't seem to hydrate as she hoped, it did feel refreshing in a sense and add a light glow. Maybe they have a unscented version that she'd be more happy with. Overall, she probably wouldn't get again since it wasn't best for her.
I'm really enjoying this cosmetica refresh glow. It has a really lovely fresh cucumber scent which is one of my favorite scents, It's light and long greasy and it's absorbed very quickly, it does however leave a slightly tacky texture, but I don't mind that. I really love this missed spray.
I needed a quick, easy way to hydrate after some at-home laser facial treatments. It had to be something moisturizing, but with no strong actives (retinol, vitamin c etc). Then I saw this. Spray. What could be faster? Totally simple and soothing. And without harsh chemicals. Aloe, glycerin, cucumber, hylauronate, and Matrixyl 3000 (two peptides which help the skin make collagen). It's lightweight and absorbs fast. No smells. The only bad thing to say is it's not a fine mist - I'm spraying it onto my cheeks and forehead then using my hands to spread around. It's a small business and because of the price (currently under $20) I think it's 5 stars. Cruelty free, made in California, and woman-owned. ps- If anyone complains, there's also a small amt of an alcohol (phenoxyethanol) to keep it sterile. Otherwise totally clean.
Looks as advertised but the spray could be gentler since it’s too strong. Also, the label is shrink wrapped onto the bottle which kind of takes away from the quality of the product. Product itself is cooling and refreshing like the freshly grated cucumber milk masks that the ladies make at the Korean spas. Absorbs well and scent is light.
This Refresh Glow with Peptide spray by Cosmetics is a nice alternative to standard retinol products. The ingredients are supposed to help tighten up the skin, rejuvenate, and moisturize. I've been using in the morning after I've washed my face as well as tried mid-day and find that it is a refreshing addition to my daily facial regimen. I do find that the sprayer does put out a lot of product, so it's easier to apply by hand with just 1 or 2 pumps. If you wear makeup, I'm not quite sure that this would be effective through your makeup application, and it's a very wet product so it might be problematic over makeup as it definitely does not work as a mister.Overall, the jury is still out as to whether Matrxyl 3000 is as effective as retinol,, but I will say that this does make my face feel nice and smooth after using - not quite like a primer for foundation, but smooth. It has a VERY faint cucumber smell, and I would almost say it has little to no scent at all. Overall, I like the product and ingredients and will continue to use in my daily regimen as it makes my face feel nice after use.
I didn't experience much cool or calm from this hydrating glow mist. The cucumber isn't evident in scent nor does it seem to provide much refreshing, enlivening quality for me. The mist is fairly fine and dissipates in a decent timeframe without much patting in for absorption needed, but the formula really didn't feel much different than a regular water mist. Didn't note skin brightness or improvement. Not the best value and not a product is reorder. Seems a bit gimmicky for my needs.
Wonderful spray to freshening up one's face. I like this product a lot, though I think it will be ideal for hot weather and the summer vs the winter months. That said, using it for dry skin during the winter might also be idea.I'm excited to see how this product goes from spring to winter. The ingredients are wonderful.
I love this gentle facial spray because it's soothing for my extremely sensitive skin. I also appreciate this company's inclusion of the full ingredient list in one of their description photos because it's a sign of good faith and pride in their ingredients. This formula is packed with soothing ingredients that are even gentle enough to be sprayed on the skin around the eyes. I use this spray as a hydrating spray under moisturizer or as a finishing spray after doing my makeup because it's very hydrating. The ingredients include soothing aloe vera, hydrating hyaluronic acid, glycerin, and cucumber extract, and calcium pantothenate, a calcium salt of pantothenic acid (vitamin B5) which is an antioxidant that is also hydrating and soothing. The star ingredient is Matrix 3000, which is a blend of two synthetic peptides that were designed to be anti-aging. I also love that there is no added fragrance and that even the preservative, phenoxyethanol, is more gentle than parabens.
This refreshing facial mist is nice. It offers a convenient way to freshen up your face throughout the day. There is a light scent but not much. I did take a star off because I felt like the spray was a bit strong and should be more of a mist. It does say on the instruction that you can spray on your face or hand and then pat onto your face but normally with a facial mister you would spray your face but this one is just a bit too strong of a spray for me to spray directly onto my face. If it had a softer spray I would have given it full stars. This spray is nice though in that it includes peptide with matrixyl 3000 and cucumber extract. It leaves my face feeling nice and hydrated and overall I really like this product.
This is nice spray that has HA which is apparently good for keeping your aging skin. Time will tell if the daily use will make any difference in my appearance, but the spray form factor makes it very easy to cover my entire face. It says it has cucumber extract, which made me think it would have that kind of smell. It does have a scent, but cant say i can place it on a cucumber. It wasnt a bad scent though. After spraying it on, it dried very quickly and has no oily feel or residue.
I was so disappointed with this facial mist! I was hoping for a refreshing and hydrating boost, but instead, it made my face sting and burn. I have sensitive skin, so I'm always cautious with new products, but the ingredient list seemed gentle enough. Unfortunately, something in this formula just didn't agree with my skin. I had to throw it away immediately after trying it. I wouldn't recommend this mist for anyone with sensitive skin.
I very happy with how this Cosmedica Skincare Refresh Glow Hydrating Peptide Spray feels on my skin. The spray kind of comes out in a rush, so I end up applying the spray to a small cotton pad and then using the pad to apply to my face. The spray looks and feels like a serum (liquid with no color) and it is easy to massage in to my skin. I was worried it would end of feeling sticky, but it doesn't at all once my skin absorbed it. The scent is quite mild, a bit floral but not distinct.Once everything was absorbed I was thrilled on how soft and smooth my skin felt using the Refresh Glow. My skin had no reaction to the spray and my skin still felt great at the end of the day. I really appreciate that it is alcohol free.I saw some reduction in my fine lines at the corner of my eyes. This feels like a good alternative to Retinol for me because I generally have a sensitivity to Retinol.I think this spray is an excellent value given the list of the ingredients and the size of the bottle. Try it.
This works well for me as the first step of my skincare routine. Personally, I’ve always felt that skincare absorbs better when my skin is damp, so this spray helps to create that optimal environment for my skin. The nozzle does not emit a very fine spray so I would spray it onto my palms and then press the liquid onto my face. It’s very lightweight and the absorption is quick. It does offer hydration but to be honest, it’s noticeable but not at a “wow” level. It’s a decent product, and works well for what it claims to do, but it’s not something that I would be rushing to add to my list of “must repurchase products”.
This hydrating mist is refreshing indeed! It has some great ingredients and is a nice afternoon pick-me-up for skin. I recommend spraying this product on your hands and applying it to the face because it does not come out in a mist but is a pretty strong spray. This one works best for no-makeup days because the spray will wreak havoc on your makeup!
This facial mist I wasn't quite sure how to use at first. My best determination is that it is not a make-up finishing spray. It seems to be a spray on "serum." It says to use after cleansing your face, or as mid-day pick me up spray. This sprays out of the bottle pretty hard, so it hits you in the face with vigor-this is not going to work on a face full of make-up. It does say that you can alternately spray onto your hands and then pat onto your face. This method works much better for me. It does have a hydrating feel after using this, very serum like, I am not sure however, that I actually like how it feels on my face personally. I hesitate to say this, but I feel like it is slightly irritating to my eyelids specifically, (when I use this as a spray directly on my face, because it hits everywhere including eyelids), but I do tend to be sensitive to skin care products occasionally, so others may not have this same feeling when using it. The jury is still out for me on this facial spray.
"Matrixyl 3000 smooths fine lines and supports skin’s elasticity for a youthful appearance" is unknown to me, but other ingredients do have a lot of benefits for skin for me. Feels good. No bad reactions. Believe this is going to be excellent. Like it.
The immediate standout benefit of this product is its spray bottle delivery method, which allows for super FAST application. Unlike droppers or bottles with nozzles, this mist covers your face and neck with just 1-2 sprays, saving valuable time in a morning routine. The hyaluronic acid gives an instant dewy glow, while the cucumber extract acts as a powerful antioxidant, making the application feel soothing. Since the benefits of Matrixyl take time to show, this is my first time using it, but I'm excited to see the long-term results. This product offers great value for the dollar with this formulation, and I can definitely see myself returning to it. For the price and overall experience, I might even use it for full-body coverage before moisturizing. Yes, it’s that good!
So far I really like this peptide spray. I use it right after my shower followed by a peptide serum and a collagen moisturizer. I have not experienced any irritation or redness. I do with it sprayed with a finer mist. I feel like a lot of spray is going to waste.
I'd say it works pretty well.Seems to add a decent bit of hydration and elasticity to the skin over time, which helps it look younger as a result.Super easy to apply too since ya just gotta dab a little on and massage it in. Doesn't feel super oily on the skin either, which is pleasant.
Everything I look for in a product-- the ingredients are clean and basic, it comes from a woman-owned business in California (where restrictions give me faith in ingredients used), and it's a great value for a decent quantity of product. The spray bottle is easy to apply and the product instantly hydrates and gives a glow. For a long time I've been using oils under my makeup and it's been an issue on warmer days. This is a great alternative to give that nice healthy glow I like to accomplish with my routine. It smells like cucumber-- a soothing spa experience while applying. I'm interested in trying other products from this company. Definitely recommend.
