The story

Cedarwood oil is steam distilled from the coniferous trees that tower over British Columbia, and it has a natural, non-chemical chelating action: it lifts dead skin cells from the scalp, styling product from the lengths and hard water minerals from everywhere in between. That is why fine hair feels twice as thick after this wash, and why stylists reach for it to reset hair before a colour or chemical service. It cleans that thoroughly and still leaves the lengths hydrated, which is the difficult part

Clinically backed repair

Dynagen-R is our patented hair technology, sourced in France and exclusive to REDAVID: a yeast protein fermented from Fair Trade sugar cane that is molecularly similar to your own hair protein, so it bonds into damaged patches instead of sitting on top. In laboratory testing it raised the markers of hair strength and structure by 50.94% against an untreated control. Three phases, every time you use it: Rebuild, Rehydrate, Reseal.

In clinical trials our Cymbidium orchid complex was shown to target the microscopic imperfections in the cuticle and fill in the gaps for mirror-like shine, and to act as a natural moisture balancer, keeping essential moisture in and excess moisture out. How to use
  1. Wet hair through.
  2. Massage into the scalp for two to three minutes. This is a scalp wash, so spend the time at the roots.
  3. Rinse well.
  4. Follow with Cedarwood Light Conditioner on the mid-lengths and ends only.

Is it a clarifying shampoo?
It is a daily purifying shampoo: strong enough to lift oil, product and hard water minerals, gentle enough to use every wash. No SLS or SLES.
Can I use it before a colour service?
Stylists use it exactly that way. It resets the hair so colour takes evenly and reads true.
Is it good for fine hair?
It was formulated for it. Nothing in the bottle coats the strand, so fine hair keeps its lift. Pair it with Volumizer at the roots.
