Expertise: the art of crocheting raffia.
Part fashion accessory, part fragrance, Fety means "party" in Malagasy. To celebrate our 10th edition of raffia-covered scented candles, we had to come up with a collection name that expressed the joy we’ve felt at working with our women’s cooperative in Madagascar for so long. The crocheted raffia candles in vibrant colors showcase the skill of the craftswomen, with embroidery and weaving blending into a joyful, decorative harmony.
Mandihy means "to dance" in Malagasy. Covered in raffia crocheted with pink and sky-blue stripes, the Mandihy scented candle becomes a decorative object with a festive, humorous look. An embroidered pale pink ruffle is placed diagonally across the candle for a quirky touch. Its sunny, aquatic fragrance, with notes of vetiver and flower of salt, will transport you to the beaches of the Mediterranean, where the sea spray will carry you away to a summer bursting with emotion.
