Expertise: the art of crocheting raffia.

Part fashion accessory, part fragrance, Fety means "party" in Malagasy. To celebrate our 10th edition of raffia-covered scented candles, we had to come up with a collection name that expressed the joy we’ve felt at working with our women’s cooperative in Madagascar for so long. The crocheted raffia candles in vibrant colors showcase the skill of the craftswomen, with embroidery and weaving blending into a joyful, decorative harmony.  

Anjara means "to share" in Malagasy. The subtle colors of nude pink and khaki are set in bayadère stripes on the raffia of the Anjara scented candle. Hand-crocheted by the women of Madagascar, this candle becomes a festive and delicate decorative object. A black embroidered side ruffl e gives the scented object the look of a fashion accessory. Its summer fragrance of orchid and ylang-ylang transports you to the magic of the beaches, where the sea air blends with the scent of suntan oil. This cheerful summer limited edition reinforces the brand’s social initiatives in Africa.
